Xiaoyu Li holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and is currently a Master’s student in Science and Technology Education at Peking University. She is a Senior Research Assistant and a member of the Lab of Learning Sciences. Her research interests focus on game-based learning, the application of generative artificial intelligence in education, and the study of learning processes from a human–computer interaction perspective.
In terms of research methodology, Xiaoyu Li has experience with multimodal experimental approaches centered on electroencephalography (EEG) and eye-tracking. She has served as a research assistant responsible for the overall implementation and data collection of experiments, completing a total of 36 experimental sessions, each lasting approximately three hours. During the experiments, she was mainly responsible for EEG equipment setup and calibration, electrode gel application, experimental procedure control, as well as the synchronized acquisition and quality monitoring of EEG and eye-tracking data during task execution. This work provided reliable data support for empirical studies on learning processes and cognitive states.
In research and educational practice, Xiaoyu Li participated in the Haidian District Outstanding Innovative Talent Program, where she completed interview reports for multiple students in engineering and technology fields. She also took part in a science education project jointly conducted by Peking University and TAL Education Group, engaging in multiple classroom observations and communicating with frontline teachers regarding project implementation and instructional feedback. In addition, she participated in online teaching support for an AI literacy course organized by Tencent SSV Lab.
In terms of academic achievement, Xiaoyu Li has received the National Scholarship and was awarded the Peking University Science Practice Scholarship (2025–2026) in the first semester of her master’s program.
