Dr. Weifang Min is a Professor and Honorary Dean of the Graduate School of Education at Peking University.
Dr. Min's research focuses on the economics of education, educational finance, educational management, and comparative education. He has led numerous key research projects, including major initiatives funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, the World Bank, and UNESCO. Dr. Min has authored or edited over 10 academic books and published more than 100 research papers. His outstanding research contributions have been recognized with multiple national and ministerial awards, including the prestigious First Prize of the Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences by Chinese Universities. In recent years, he has been dedicated to advancing theoretical and policy research in education economics, exploring how educational resources allocation and investment strategies can enhance human capital development. His work aims to provide scientific foundations for educational decision-making and to promote the high-quality development of education in China.
Dr. Min has served in many important academic and public service positions, including as Convener of the Public Management Discipline Evaluation Group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, Chairman of the National Education Science Planning Leadership Group for Education Economics and Management, and Chairman of the National Association for Education Finance Research.
