Lixiang Gao is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Psychology, LMU Munich, Germany. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Central China Normal University and previously served as a research assistant at the Learning Sciences Lab, Peking University. Her research focuses on designing effective adaptive instructional support for collaborative learning, learning analytics, teachers’ and students’ emotions in online learning environment, and examining learner interactions with large language models in teacher and medical education.
