Dr. Junjie Shang is a Professor and also serves as the Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Education and the execute director of the Lab of Learning Sciences. 

Dr. Shang’s research interests include learning science and technology, game-based learning, digitization of education. He has led many research projects, which are funded by National Science Foundation of China, National Social Science Foundation of China, Beijing Social Science Foundation, and so on. Dr. Shang has edited or authored more than 10 books, and published more than 90 papers. 

In recent years, he has strived to integrate new technologies such as learning sciences, artificial intelligence, and educational games to deeply explore the underlying mechanisms of learning, design and develop innovative learning environments. His goal is to deeply integrate learning sciences with classroom teaching, create a new happy educational theory system, and make learning more scientific, more happy, and more effective.
