Dr. Junjie Shang is a Professor and also serves as the Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Education and the executive director of the Lab of Learning Sciences.
Dr. Shang’s research interests include learning sciences and technology, game-based learning, and digitization of education. He has led many research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Social Science Foundation, and other organizations. Dr. Shang has edited or authored more than 10 books and published more than 90 papers.
In recent years, he has strived to integrate new technologies such as learning sciences, artificial intelligence, and educational games to deeply explore the underlying mechanisms of learning, and to design and develop innovative learning environments. His goal is to deeply integrate learning sciences with classroom teaching, create a new happy educational theory system, and make learning more scientific, more happy, and more effective.
